Tree Planting Event
In just four years, Travelers Personal Insurance has achieved significant environmental, educational and operational benefits through bold partnerships with American Forests and the U.S. chapter of 1t.org.
Through American Forests, Travelers funds the planting or conservation of one tree for each Personal Insurance billing account converted to paperless billing.
As of Earth Day 2024, Travelers has funded the planting or conservation of more than five million trees in 17 U.S. states and Canada.
Beyond this campaign’s environmental impacts of planting trees and reducing paper consumption, paperless billing provides an added level of convenience for customers by allowing for easy access and retrieval of billing documents while helping save millions of dollars a year in paper and postage costs.
In addition to supporting Traveler’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint, its partnership with the U.S. chapter of 1t.org helps contribute to a global movement of conserving, restoring and growing one trillion trees by 2030.
