Ideation
My favorite part of the process is where we start. We generate ideas together in a free flowing format - whether we are together in a room with sticky notes or on a zoom call with a digital white board. We gather with open minds to produce as many ideas as we can to address your business design challenge in a facilitated, judgment-free environment and you can expect it to be inspiring and fun as we explore the crazy, the practical and the (sometimes annoying but always important) established best practices.
EXPLORATION
As we explore, we are still cutting our teeth in the early stage of the design process as we gather information, generate ideas, and explore various possibilities before settling on a specific direction. We will research, brainstorm, and experiment with different concepts, layouts, colors, typography, and other design elements.
We’ll wrap our heads around the project's requirements, target audience, and objectives. We may conduct user research, analyze competitors, and study industry trends to gain insights and inspiration. This research helps us identify opportunities, challenges, and potential solutions and guides us as concepts are created through sketching, wire-framing, and low-fidelity prototypes.
iteration & Finalization
Refining and improving a design through multiple rounds of feedback, adjustment, and iteration is pretty critical to collaborative design. After the initial exploration phase, I gather feedback from stakeholders, clients, or users and leverage it to make informed revisions to the design. Each iteration involves making changes, testing the design, and gathering more feedback to further enhance the solution. If not managed correctly this process can become a bit of a bear so I work really hard to listen and understand your perspective as quickly as possible.
Once the design is ready for implementation we make final adjustments, conduct quality checks, and prepare the design assets for delivery to developers, clients, or production.
The final product is the culmination of our collaborative efforts to create a visually appealing, functional, and user-centered solution that meets
the project goals.
